Vinilia Wine Resort - Dimora Storica

We visited here for my partner's 50th birthday in September. In advance of our visit, the team were fantastic at helping me book local restaurants & transportation to them during our stay. Room was beautiful and the resort is exceptional. Fantastic swimming pool and gardens. The main castle decor is quirky and very chic What disappointed me was 2 things: 1) I chose it for the wine and the restaurant - but honestly didn't think either were great. We had the tasting menu one evening of our stay with the paired wines and didn't really enjoy. The menu didn't seem to flow together and was in most instances style over substance. The wine is average for the region - we had much better wines in other restaurants we ate in locally. 2) The day time / other food offering (other than the Michelin * restaurant) was expensive and pretty limited and given that the resort is a fair distance from anything else, if you choose not to drive out for 15-20 mins, then there is no alternative If you choose to stay here would strongly recommend hiring a car - without one you are very limited

A beautiful, comfortable well designed hotel centrally located to towns and beaches. Once gate opens up you are in a such a beautiful place that sometimes I wanted to pinch myself. Pool area was large and very comfortable with tons of seating and umbrellas. Castle is so beautiful renovated with many areas to lounge. Service is exceptional and very helpful. I asked them for many things and they patiently helped with everything. Room was so comfortable with so many details. Will really miss this place. Will be back.

We stayed 4 nights in this amazing hotel end of June 2023 during a road trip in Puglia. The resort is big and beautiful/well maintained. A lot of place to relax… especially at the large pool. The main building has a magnificent interior and is cozy and spacious. The bedroom was fantastic, spacious and clean. We loved our stay a lot! Very friendly staff who would do anything you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible… . Definitely a recommended hotel to stay at !

5 star hotel with a 3 star hotel service. The staff seemed inexperienced ; there were multiple times when they did not know what happens/how to solve a problem/a situation or who we are. There were also multiple times that we as customers had to ask for service when it should have happened automatically - for instance at breakfast the staff only stood still near the customers without doing anything (and sometimes even using their phones), and we had to ask for coffee etc. The circumstanses and venue was out of a dream, the room was big and clean but unfortunately the people of this ’resort’ made it feel like a lower class hotel than it should be.
